GROW COLLECTIVE CENTER FOR URBAN AGRICULTURE
The project asked to leverage architectural design to advocate for new modes of food growth, distribution, and education in Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Grow Collective seeks to partner with this initiative and provide shared resources for the community. The program includes a teaching/outreach space, an indoor/outdoor market, a greenhouse, and planting beds. The program was arranged to create an embedded communal green interactive space, specifically designed for children, with an effort to inspire the children of these communities to have interest in urban farming and gardening.
